Footpaths of Ios

The island has a network of footpaths that are ideal for hiking. Visitors can enjoy the landscape of Ios, but also to find traces of cultural monuments. There are five routes:

• Chora - Agios Spyridon - Perivolia - Agios Prokopios – Pelekania
• Pelekania - Pateras Viglari - Museum Gaitis - Theatre Odysseas Elytis - Windmills – Chora
• Agios Prokopios - Perivolia - Epano Kampos - Ellinika - Bridge Pretesi - Skarkos – Chora
• Chora - Kolitsani Beach
• Harbour – Valmas Beach
