This is a well preserved Roman villa, which belonged to a wealthy Roman landowner. The impressive mosaics of the house are very interesting: one of them depicts Envy and was intended to prevent the feelings of the visitors when faced with the beauty of this place and the other one depicts a sacrifice scene in an attempt to indicate the importance of religion and nature in this peaceful farmhouse.
